A Greenfield man was arraigned in Northampton District Court today after being arrested Friday night on eight charges including hitting and dragging a Massachusetts State Trooper with his car.  45-year-old Michael Williams Jr. of Greenfield led police on a pursuit by vehicle and on foot in the Holyoke area, after the trooper tried to stop him on I-91 northbound in Holyoke for motor vehicle violations.  The vehicle eventually crashed, and the suspect fled on foot and was located at 5:35 p.m. by a K9 unit.
